About Dog City
The Dog City Professional Pet Care Centre is a unique project, the likes of which are not found anywhere else in Ukraine. All the principles underpinning our centre’s work – animal care, socialisation and training – are based on the successful experience of our Western colleagues from England, Ireland and the USA. This is not merely a matter of borrowing expertise; Dog City staff have undergone specialised training in the proper care, training and socialisation of pets at leading institutions in Western countries.
Pets have a positive effect on a person’s mental well-being – this is a scientifically proven fact. A pet has a positive effect on a person’s nervous system and helps to regulate heart rate and blood pressure, regardless of whether it is a fish, a hamster, a bird, a cat or a dog.
And who has given any thought to our pets’ mental wellbeing? Just like us, our ‘smaller brothers’ experience emotional stress – both positive and negative. Few people realise it, but every time you go to work, visit friends or go on a business trip, your pet misses you.
We are responsible for the animals we have taken in, which means that just as pets look after people, so too must people look after them. The Dog City team is here to help you with this.
What services do we provide:
- A dog day-care centre offering full-day care – here, your pet receives the care they need, as well as the chance to socialise with friends, engage in physical and mental stimulation. At the dog day care centre, dogs are grouped according to size and temperament. During the day, dogs and puppies socialise and play with their furry friends under the supervision of qualified staff, and in the evening they return home happy and tired, ready to be by their owners’ side and bring them joy.
- Dog hotel – your pet can stay in a comfortable dog hotel whilst you’re away. Our pet hotel offers 24-hour care and attention, comfortable accommodation, a balanced diet and good hygiene.
- Cat boarding – our cat hotel offers spacious, comfortable rooms equipped with everything needed to make being apart from you as easy as possible.
- Pet beauty salon – your pet can enjoy a full range of grooming services, from bathing to a manicure.
- Grooming – we’ve deliberately listed this service separately, as its popularity speaks for itself. Our qualified groomers will give your pet a show-quality cut, or simply trim their fringe; either way, your dog or cat will look absolutely stunning.
- The pet shop is a small shop where you’ll find unique accessories and educational toys for dogs and cats.
- Dog training – our experts will teach your dog all the necessary commands and skills without causing any psychological distress to the animal. We do not use the ‘carrot and stick’ approach – we respect dogs.
- Online video monitoring of your pet is a FREE service that will be available to all our centre’s clients.

- Essential:
A) Dogs: please bring the animal’s veterinary passport, which must show that it has been vaccinated against DHLP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis and parvovirus) and against rabies within the last year;
B) Cats: the cat has been vaccinated against viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleucopenia, and rabies within the last three years.
C) The dog must not be aggressive towards other dogs or people.
Dog City is a full-service boarding kennel where animals are treated with love and respect. We love what we do and would be delighted to look after your pets!
